Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats

Updated: Sep 5

Some mornings just call for something comforting—something creamy, fruity, and a little bit indulgent. This Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats recipe was born out of one of those days when I opened the cupboard looking for chia seeds (I always feel like I should have them), only to find a long-expired bag from two years ago! So instead of chasing trendy ingredients, I went for the simple things I actually had—and it turned into something I now crave all the time.

This one tastes like strawberry cheesecake in a jar. It’s sweet but not too much, creamy from the yogurt and cream cheese, and full of real strawberries. It feels like a treat but takes less than five minutes to throw together. You just mix it the night before and wake up to a chilled, cozy breakfast that makes mornings easier and a little more joyful.

Ingredients

  • Rolled oats – 1/2 cup

  • Milk of choice – 1/2 cup

  • Cream cheese – 1 tablespoon

  • Greek yogurt – 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh strawberries – 3 to 4, chopped

  • Honey (optional) - 1 tablespoon

  • Graham cracker or biscuit crumbs – 1 teaspoon (optional topping)

Instructions

In a bowl or jar, whisk together the cream cheese, yogurt and milk until smooth. Stir in the oats and fold in the chopped strawberries. Add the honey if using. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours). Before serving, give it a stir and then sprinkle with biscuit crumbs for that cheesecake crust feel — totally optional, but so good!
